Sealing

Slate and Marble

Apply a thin, even coat of BENTENS CLEARTHANE SEALER by hand, using a synthetic sponge.

DO NOT use excess pressure.

Allow to dry.

USE 1 COAT ONLY.

DO NOT apply sealer if the previous coat is still tacky.

DO NOT use a brush or roller.

DO NOT apply in temperatures less than 10 degrees Centigrade. (50F). This can cause the sealer to emulsify as can coats applied too thickly.
